I know that when I take my cars in for service at Ayers it will be fixed and fixed right. I have had some work done that was very complicated to troubleshoot, yet their ASE certified technicians got to the root of the problem and got it fixed in the best fashion. I felt very safe leaving my car at Ayers Auto Repair. "Mike" was extremely friendly and helpful, along with "Bob" and all the other employees. They greeted me and guided me through the process of what my car needed, how much it would cost, and how long it would take. They did more to my car than any other place I have taken it. Best Repair Shop In Santa Barbara.I took my VW to Ayers Automotive for a service. I thought I needed some major work on my car (according to the dealer) but after the mechanics at Ayers inspected my car I found out it didn't need as much work as I had been led to believe. After doing the servicing and several other maintenance things they found, I was on my way and the repairs were less than I thought I needed! The bonus was that my car was washed and clean when I picked it up. The owner was very nice and was very informative and was concerned that I understood the work they were doing on my car. Efrain was very professional and made sure I was OK with the work when I picked up my car. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AYERS AUTOMOTIVE TO ANYONE WHO NEEDS A CAR SERVICED OR REPAIED!

This was my second experience with Ayer's and, so far, it has been a positive one even though the number of repairs recommended were way beyond what I had expected. They did explain thoroughly what was needed prior to doing any further work. I did feel that they were supportive in trying to make the experience as painless, as possible. Everyone I spoke with was very pleasant and not condescending.

Iwas helped by Efrain Cosio, the service was exemplary, I am from a contractor from San Diego and was working in Santa Barbara when my van had a coolant leak. you guys fixed it in a day and what impressed me most was the cleanup on my old van, completely washed and vacumed throughout....and it was filthy inside, you have a top notch shop, I just wish you were in San Diego....Thanks very much.br/Reply: Dear Dan,Thank you for the kind words.
